Inbound Appointment Scheduling
The preferred method of scheduling delivery appointments to a Food Lion Distribution Center is via the Red Prairie website. This is a free service for all carriers delivering loads to Food Lion. To request instruction on how to sign on and use the website, click here and instructions will be delivered by email. Please include the Purchase Order Number, Date of Arrival, Carrier's Name and Vendor Name when emailing for assistance.
Shipping to Food Lion Distribution Centers - Preferred LTL Carrier Routing Instructions
Effective June 7, 2010, the Food Lion Family of Banners and Bottom Dollar Food will implement a
revised Preferred Carrier Program for ALL Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) pre-paid shipments inbound to
any of their distribution centers. The carriers that will participate in this program are Old Dominion
Freight Lines, Estes Express lines and Jacobson Transportation.
