ACC Sponsorship
The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and its Official Corporate Partners give back to the community each year through Operation Outreach at the Men's Basketball Tournament. Outreach is a six-week newspaper based program that reaches over 25,000 students in over 600 classrooms. A special curriculum guide is prepared that utilizes ACC Men's Basketball articles in the newspaper as an instructional tool in the classroom. Lessons in language arts, geography and social studies are all included in the curriculum.

SAC Sponsorship
The South Atlantic Conference (SAC) is a group of nine private colleges and universities, most of them church-affiliated, similar in size and athletic philosophy. Since becoming eligible for NCAA Division II postseason play in 1993, the league has sent representatives from all of its sponsored sports to NCAA postseason play.
Food Lion is the title sponsor for all SAC Championships.

CIAA Sponsorship
The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) is an athletic conference consisting of 10 historically African-American institutions of higher education.
Food Lion has been an Official Corporate Partner of the CIAA for 15 years. Through this relationship, Food Lion has provided scholarships to deserving students at historically black colleges and universities.
