Sweet-tooth cravings may be a year-round occurrence, but summer's scorching temperatures make many dessert lovers hesitant to fire up the oven for baking pies. No-bake pie recipes allow you to satisfy those urges for a sweet treat without turning your kitchen into a sauna.

Keep these no-bake peanut butter pie and no-bake Key lime pie recipes handy to feed family and friends throughout the summer. These pies are especially useful when summer holidays like the Fourth of July sneak up on you.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Pie 

What you will need:

· 8 ounces cream cheese

· 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

· 1 cup peanut butter

· 1 cup milk

· 12 ounces whipped topping, thawed

· 2 9-inch graham cracker pie shells

· Halved peanut butter cups

· Chocolate shavings

Directions

Beat together 8 ounces of cream cheese and 1 1/2 cups of sugar until it's smooth. Begin to mix in 1 cup peanut butter and 1 cup milk. Beat the mixture until smooth again. Fold in 12 ounces of thawed whipped topping. Spoon the finished mixture into two 9-inch graham cracker pie shells. Smooth the surface, cover it, and let it chill until firm. Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings and halved peanut butter cups, adding as much or as little as desired.


No-Bake Key Lime Pie 

What you will need:

· 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream 

· 8 ounces cream cheese

· 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk 

· 1/2 cup Key lime juice

· 1 9-inch graham cracker crust

· Lime wedges or zest

Directions

Whisk 3/4 cup of heavy cream until stiff, then set aside. In a separate bowl, beat 8 ounces of cream cheese until smooth. Add a 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk. Slowly beat again until well mixed. Mix in your whipped heavy cream until combined. Add 1/2 cup of lime juice to mixture while beating until thick. Pour the creamy mixture into graham cracker pie shell. Smooth the surface and let it chill until firm. Before serving, garnish with dollops of whipped cream and lime wedges coated with sugar. For a more subtle look, use lime zest instead of wedges.
