Chef Bruce Rowland

Chef Bruce Rowland resides in Richmond, Virginia and is a graduate of the distinguished Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.  He's a self-starter who focuses on creating dishes with fresh ingredients and giving his customers a memorable dining experience that'll keep them coming back for more. Bruce has spent most of his career as an executive chef and is currently the executive chef and owner of Rowland Find Dining with his wife in Richmond, Virginia.  He is also an adjunct professor in culinary arts at J. Sargent Reynolds Community College.

Chef Monica Smith

Monica D. Smith is a native of Gastonia, NC and has a bachelor’s degree in Foods / Nutrition and an associate's in Culinary Arts. Her sustainable farm-to-fork concept has inspired her take on classic southern dishes. Chef Monica can be seen regularly on WBTV-CHARLOTTE/BounceTV, FOX 46 Charlotte, and the NBC Charlotte Today Show. She has been a chef competitor on The Food Network's Guy’s Grocery Games, Cutthroat Kitchen, and has been a guest on Chef Jeff Henderson’s Flip My Food. Chef Monica was chosen as one of the celebrity chefs for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at the St. Jude Wine Country & Garden Harvest and will begin touring with comedian Tone-X for the new show Comedy and Cuisine.

Chef Jennifer Brulé

Chef Brulé is currently working on another cookbook for The Press which will be published fall of 2018.Jennifer Brulé is a classically trained chef, food writer and restaurant consultant. Her work has appeared nationally in Cooking Light, Shape and Fitness Magazines, and internationally in Swiss News. She cooks live on NBC Charlotte every Sunday morning and monthly on ABC Charleston. Her cookbook, Learn to Cook 25 Southern Classics 3 Ways was published by UNC Press this past September and is in its second printing. 

 

 

Lisa G. Brooks

Lisa G. Brooks

Lisa grew up cooking typical southern foods at her mother’s side. Cooking has always been a passion of hers, and feels that being a chef was her true calling in life. Lisa is a Certified Culinarian by the American Culinary Federation and has earned an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts from Central Piedmont Community College. She and her husband, Ken, own and cook beside six other chefs at her personal chef service in Charlotte, NC. Her specialties include southern American, Cajun/Creole, Caribbean and Vegetarian cooking. She won the Moore & Van Allen MVA Bowl Cooking Competition in 2012 and recently appeared on Guy's Grocery Games on The Food Network.
