As Miss Elizabeth City State University, her campaign has been to bridge the gap between the community and ECSU and improving the town and gown relationship. The campaign began by Arielle going to surrounding churches to introduce herself to the Elizabeth City community. The next phase of her platform, she created a partnership with our local food bank to fight hunger. She created the Viking Care Team of Students to assist with the local food bank efforts and to participate in the Walk for Hunger to raise money, and also received funding for the creation of a food pantry to address food insecurity on campus.

Arielle is a member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC and also volunteers at the local SPCA Shelter.

Arielle is a people person lives by a very simple motto: “Everybody Is Somebody - We Are All God’s Children”.
