This 20-minute dish blends turkey, dumplings, carrots, celery, onion and fresh herbs in a warm broth for a soothing and flavorful lunch or dinner.

  1. Stir the warm water and cornstarch in a measuring cup or coffee cup to dissolve.
  2. Add the water and cornstarch mixture into the a large pot over medium high heat with broth and whisk to make sure everything is dissolved. Add the onion, celery, and carrots and cook until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the dumplings, turkey and fresh herbs and stir. Cover the pot and let simmer for 8-12 minutes until tender. Stir occasionally so nothing sticks to the pot and burns. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy immediately.
