Add these 4 ingredients to your slow cooker for a quick yet flavorful dinner on a busy night.


Select ingredients:


  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and then add in the chuck roast to cook for 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
  2. Once it is browned, transfer the roast to a 6-qt. slow cooker. Mix together beer and dressing mix, and then drizzle over roast.
  3. Cover the roast and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or until tender. Take the roast out of the slow cooker. Remove the fat from the sauce and serve with the roast.
