- Mash the banana until smooth in a medium bowl. Stir in the chia, oats, cinnamon, milk, and water until combined. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- When you are ready to prepare your oatmeal, place the oat mixture into a medium pot on medium high heat and simmer. Once oatmeal begins to simmer, reduce heat immediately to medium-low, and stir frequently until the oatmeal is heated throughout and thickened. Serve immediately.
