Serve these succulent shrimp piping hot as a light main course or at room temperature as an appetizer. Adjust the amount of Tabasco sauce to suit your desire for heat, zesty or mild.
- Stir together the lime juice, oregano, and Tabasco sauce in a small bowl.
- Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and stir for about 15 seconds.
- Add the shrimp. Cook, stirring constantly, until the shrimp curl and turn pink, about 3 minutes. Stir in the lime juice mixture. Season with salt to taste. Adjust the Tabasco sauce.
- Transfer the shrimp and all the juices to a serving dish and garnish with parsley.
