Garlic Shrimp

Serve these succulent shrimp piping hot as a light main course or at room temperature as an appetizer. Adjust the amount of Tabasco sauce to suit your desire for heat, zesty or mild.



  1. Stir together the lime juice, oregano, and Tabasco sauce in a small bowl.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and stir for about 15 seconds.
  3. Add the shrimp. Cook, stirring constantly, until the shrimp curl and turn pink, about 3 minutes. Stir in the lime juice mixture. Season with salt to taste. Adjust the Tabasco sauce.
  4. Transfer the shrimp and all the juices to a serving dish and garnish with parsley.
