Savory and sweet come together with this unique sandwich recipe. Use your air fryer to make a glazed donut bun and take a break from plain sandwiches!

Directions

  1. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 pieces, and use a bottle cap or a 1-inch cookie cutter to cut a hole out of the center of each biscuit (try not to flatten the dough).
  2. Place each biscuit in a lightly greased air fryer at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Turn them over halfway through. Remove from the air fryer and brush the tops with the melted butter, then sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Place one donut on the bottom, a cooked chicken patty in the center, another donut on top, and then top with maple syrup.
