Enjoy the taste of fall with this 5-ingredient mimosa recipe! Perfect for brunch or an evening drink, our Apple Cider Mimosas are a tasty combination of apple cider and sparkling white wine with apple wedges and a cinnamon sugar rim. Choose red apples for an extra hint of sweetness or green apples for a pop of tartness. And if you want to infuse some even more flavor in your drink, let the apple wedges soak in a cinnamon liqueur or simple syrup with cinnamon (and a small squeeze of lemon juice) for an hour or two beforehand. Let’s cheers to fall!
Pour 1/4 cup of apple cider in a shallow dish or bowl. On a small plate, combine the cinnamon and sugar.
- Take empty champagne flutes and dip 1/2 inch of their rims in apple cider. Then, dip in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- In each glass, pour 1/4 cup of the remaining apple cider and top with the sparkling white wine or champagne. Carefully place 1 apple wedge in each glass.
