- In a large saucepan or stock pot, place the apples, cinnamon sticks, cinnamon, allspice, orange, and white sugar.
- Pour in enough apple juice to cover the apples in the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook on medium-high for approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce the heat and let the mixture simmer for another hour, covered. Stir occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let the cider cool. Using a spoon or a potato masher, mash the apples, then strain the cider to remove the pulp and spices. (You may need to strain it through cheesecloth to ensure that the pulp is removed.)
- Serve and enjoy!
