- Add peas to skillet and cover with water.
- Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Drain peas. In a separate pan, fry the bacon until it's done. After cooled, crumble the bacon. Place peas, bacon crumbles, garlic, garlic salt, pepper, and butter into the skillet that peas were cooked in. Cook on medium heat until warmed, approximately 5 minutes. Toss in cheese and serve warm.
