Bacon Wrapped Pineapple
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place an oven-safe cooling rack onto the baking sheet.
- Cut each slice of bacon crosswise into three pieces.
- Wrap each chunk of pineapple with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until bacon is crispy. Halfway through the baking time, baste the bacon with the barbeque sauce. Allow to cool 5-10 minutes before serving.
Recipe Tip: For a touch of heat, mix 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper with the barbecue sauce!
