Apple Strudel is a warm fall favorite dessert. Follow this easy step-by-step recipe to make a classic apple strudel with a delicious filling!

Select ingredients:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine apples, raisins, cinnamon, salt, brown sugar, ¼ cup white sugar, and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Toss until apples are evenly coated.
  2. Spread puff pastry sheets on a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread half of the apple mixture down the center of each.
  3. Fold each side over the apple mixture, moistening the bottom of the top layer to help it stick. Brush the top of each strudel with the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and sprinkle with the last 2 tablespoons sugar.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until pastry is cooked through and tops are golden brown and crispy. Let cool for several minutes before serving or slicing with a serrated knife.
