Beer Can Chicken

  1. Heat oven to 350 F
  2. Rub outside of chicken and under the skin with olive oil.
  3. Mix salt, pepper and Italian seasoning together and rub it under the skin (to give it even more flavor double the seasonings and save half to rub on outside of the chicken)
  4. Next set the chicken on the open beer can. The chicken legs will help to support itself. Place in preheated oven and cook for 1 hour and thirty minutes (depending on the size of the chicken adjust time as needed).
  5. When finished cooking carefully remove the chicken from the can. Be careful contents in the can are hot!!
