- Place the macaroni, water, and salt in a microwaveable bowl. (You can prepare it directly in a mug, but the pasta tends to boil over in the microwave; the larger bowl makes this easier to avoid.)
- Microwave for 4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until cooked.
- Transfer to a mug. Add the butter, milk, cheddar, and Kraft singles. Mix well.
- Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Microwave another 30 seconds or until the cheese is completely melted.
