Banana splits are a classic dessert loved by kids and adults alike. And with this recipe, you don’t have to give up this scrumptious sweet in order to stick to your new year’s resolution! In fact, it’s made with Greek yogurt and honey in place of honey, as well as three different fruits, including bananas (of course) and a chocolate drizzle. However, if you want to save a little prep time, skip the step for melting the chocolate and simply top your Better-For-You Banana Splits with chocolate chips.
- Whisk the Greek yogurt and honey together in a small bowl until smooth. Set aside.
- Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until completely melted.
- Place a banana on each plate. Top with yogurt mixture, berries, and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Serve immediately.
