These healthy and cost-conscious lettuce wraps are perfect for a nourishing lunch or a light, gluten-free dinner. Just a handful of ingredients, like bibb lettuce leaves, tilapia fillets and dried herbs are all it takes to pull this restaurant-worthy meal together! Select ingredients:


  1. Combine the brown sugar, cumin, salt, paprika, oregano, pepper and garlic in a small bowl. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the fish.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, cook the fish until dark golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer the cooked fish to a large bowl. Using a fork, flake the fish into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Layer the fish and salsa in the lettuce leaves. Serve and enjoy.

Substitute: Substitute shrimp, salmon or flounder for the tilapia!
