Your classic brat in a bun, dressed up with all the ingredients of a BLT.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Wrap a slice of bacon around each bratwurst and use a toothpick to secure the bacon to both ends of the bratwurst.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the internal temperature of the bratwursts reaches 165 degrees. Remove toothpicks from the cooked bratwursts.
- Assembly: put each bacon-wrapped bratwurst in a bun and top with iceberg lettuce. Sprinkle on chopped tomatoes and use a squeeze bottle to drizzle on mayo to taste. Serve immediately.
