BLT Burger

All the delight of a BLT sandwich in fabulous burger form! This BLT burger is sure to please.
Ingredients

- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, the cubed Cheddar, the salt, and the pepper. Shape into 4 large patties.

Brush each side of the patties with butter, then place the patties on the grill (pre-heated to high) and grill for approximately 6 to 7 minutes per side (check doneness with a meat thermometer; they should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Cook your bacon according to package directions.

Cut the red onion in half. Dice one half, slice the other half.

In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, the ketchup, the diced onion, and the parsley. Mix well.

Toast your buns, if desired.

To assemble the burgers: spread the mayo/ketchup sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

Add lettuce and tomato.

Add a burger and an extra slice of Cheddar, if desired.

Add sliced onion.

Add a generous amount of cooked bacon!

Top with the top half of the bun and serve.
