Plan ahead. Peel and freeze bananas, and buy packages of frozen blueberries at the supermarket. The frozen fruit blends into a pleasing, creamy texture. This recipe easily doubles. Another bonus is it can be made the night before. Just refrigerate in a tightly covered container, so it's ready to go in the morning as a satisfying and nutritious way to start the day. Best of all, blueberries are very high in antioxidants, as well as great flavor. For even more nutrition, add a scoop of your favorite protein powder and 1 tablespoon each of chia seeds and ground flaxseeds.
