Sweet and savory salmon served over rice with seasonal vegetables makes for a quick and delicious dinner. You can also cook this salmon on a sheet pan in the oven, if you prefer. Pick up cedar planks in the grilling aisle.
Ingredients
Directions
- Ask your butcher to skin the salmon fillets. Soak the cedar planks in water for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Place all of the ingredients of the marinate into a large Ziploc bag and push around on the outside of the bag with your fingers to mix. Place the salmon fillets into the marinate and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Preheat your outdoor grill on high. Place the cedar planks directly on the grill. Then place the marinated salmon fillets on the cedar planks. Spoon a little marinate on the top of the salmon. Close the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes. Or until the salmon is caramelized nicely and it flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve with asparagus or another seasonal vegetable and your choice of rice.
