Switch it up from your typical chips and dip to these seasoned potato crisps dipped into a hot cheesy broccoli dip topped with bacon crumbles.
Ingredients
Directions
-
Place the cream cheese, the pasteurized prepared cheese, and the onion in the slow cooker.
-
Add the broccoli, the salsa, and half of the bacon. Cook on High for one hour, stirring occasionally.
- Prior to serving, prepare your potato dippers. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat it lightly with oil. Place the potatoes (not overlapping) on the baking sheet and lightly oil the potatoes.
-
Apply a small amount of salt, pepper, and smoked paprika to each potato. Pop them in a 450-degree oven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, until they are browning and crispy. Watch them closely—they like to stick and they like to burn.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
-
Top the broccoli dip with the remaining bacon and serve the potatoes with the broccoli dip.
