Broccoli with Rigatoni

A quick, healthy pasta dish, loaded with broccoli.

In large stock pot, bring water to boil. Add 1 tablespoon salt. Add rigatoni and cook according to package directions.

While pasta is cooking, heat oil in pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and broccoli and sauté 2-3 minutes. Add red pepper flakes, if desired.
- Add chicken broth to broccoli, and bring to a boil, then reduce to medium. Cook for 5 minutes. Reduce to simmer.
- When rigatoni is fully cooked, drain well. Then add rigatoni to broccoli, and stir to combine well. Remove from heat.

Top the broccoli and rigatoni with grated parmesan cheese.
