- Rinse halibut well and pat dry. Heat butter in pan and add almonds, cooking until slightly browned. Remove almonds with slotted spoon and set aside.
- Place halibut in hot pan, skin side down. Cook until halibut is opaque, spooning brown butter over the filets to coat the top of the fish. When fish is white, flip briefly and let cook for approximately 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and garnish with almonds and fresh chives. Serve immediately.
