Celebrate the spring sunshine with this adorable bunny bark! A simple double boiler helps melt the dark chocolate, which is then spread out and topped with nuts, candy, bunny-shaped cookies and sprinkles — or any other fillings that you like. The finished effect is charming and whimsical, a nice homemade touch for Easter baskets and dessert trays, or wrapped in individual baggies as gifts!
Ingredients
Directions
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the chocolate to a large heat-safe glass mixing bowl. Fill a small saucepan with 1-inch of water and bring to a boil over high heat. Remove from the heat and place the bowl of chocolate on top of the hot water. Melt the chocolate, stirring constantly until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the almonds until combined. Spread the chocolate mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet. Top with the candy eggs, bunny grahams and sprinkles. Refrigerate until firm, about 15 minutes.
- Break the chocolate into large pieces. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
Recipe Tip: Feel free to substitute your favorite candy for the candy eggs and bunny graham crackers to make this sweet treat any time of the year!
