Buttery Mashed Potatoes

No big meal is complete without the mashed potatoes! This simple recipe is full of buttery goodness that your guest will gobble up.

  1. Peel and wash potatoes. If potatoes are large, cut into smaller pieces. Place in pot and cover with water.
  2. Boil potatoes on medium high heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until they are soft enough to pierce with a fork.
  3. Drain potatoes and add heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper and about 4 tablespoons of butter to potatoes.
  4. Mash with a potato masher or use a hand blender. Continue adding butter and salt and pepper until potatoes are seasoned to your preference.
