- Peel and wash potatoes. If potatoes are large, cut into smaller pieces. Place in pot and cover with water.
- Boil potatoes on medium high heat for 15 to 20 minutes or until they are soft enough to pierce with a fork.
- Drain potatoes and add heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper and about 4 tablespoons of butter to potatoes.
- Mash with a potato masher or use a hand blender. Continue adding butter and salt and pepper until potatoes are seasoned to your preference.
