Super-chocolate, super-creamy, super-delicious! The cabernet sauvignon adds an extra hint of deliciousness.
Ingredients
Directions
- Place the cabernet sauvignon in a large saucepan and heat over low for approximately 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, salt, milk, and the mini chocolate chips.
- Add the milk mixture to the saucepan and stir well. Increase the heat to medium and simmer for approximately 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the ingredients are fully combined and the mixture thickens slightly.
- Pour the melted chocolate wafers on a plate. Spread the chocolate to a larger diameter than your mugs.
- Spread the coarse salt on a second plate.
- Dip the rim of each serving mug in the chocolate, and then into the coarse salt.
- Carefully pour the hot chocolate beverage into each mug. Add a scoop of whipped cream and 5 or 6 mini chocolate chips on top of each mug.
