Super-chocolate, super-creamy, super-delicious! The cabernet sauvignon adds an extra hint of deliciousness.

  1. Place the cabernet sauvignon in a large saucepan and heat over low for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cocoa powder, sugar, salt, milk, and the mini chocolate chips.
  3. Add the milk mixture to the saucepan and stir well. Increase the heat to medium and simmer for approximately 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the ingredients are fully combined and the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate wafers on a plate. Spread the chocolate to a larger diameter than your mugs.
  5. Spread the coarse salt on a second plate.
  6. Dip the rim of each serving mug in the chocolate, and then into the coarse salt.
  7. Carefully pour the hot chocolate beverage into each mug. Add a scoop of whipped cream and 5 or 6 mini chocolate chips on top of each mug.
