Cajun Chicken Pasta

Cajun is the style served up all over Louisiana with flavors influenced by the Acadian people. Cajun cooking uses lots of peppers, onions, and celery typically.

- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta for 8-10 minutes, or al dente.
- On a large plate season chicken with the cajun seasoning. Flip the chicken over and season the other side. In a large skillet pan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté chicken until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 7-9 minutes.
- In the pan add the peppers, onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes. After that, reduce the heat.
- Stir in cream, basil, lemon pepper, salt, garlic powder and ground black pepper and bring the mixture to a simmer. Toss in the cooked linguine. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve.
