Dinner is as easy as preheating the oven and opening a bag with this quick and easy recipe. Serve it alongside rice for a main dish or on its own as a comforting, savory side, no slicing or dicing required.
- Heat the milk and shredded cheese in a pot over medium heat, whisking until the cheese melts into a sauce. Add the mustard, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper and stir.
- Empty the frozen broccoli and cauliflower into a 6 by 9 inch or similar size casserole dish and pour the cheese sauce over the vegetables. Sprinkle the bread crumbs across the top and place in an oven heated to 400 degrees. Bake for 15 minutes and serve hot on its own or atop rice.
