Chai Spice Pancake

These fluffy pancakes are reminiscent of a chai spice latte, but on your breakfast plate. Fall flavors and sweet syrup come together for a delightfully different morning treat.

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, butter, sugar and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, salt, flour and baking powder.
  2. Add the wet to the dry and, using a spatula, mix just until combined.
  3. Heat a pan or skillet over medium heat and drop in 1/3 cup of the batter at a time. Flip once when first side is golden brown. Continue until all batter is cooked. Top with maple syrup and serve warm.
