Select ingredients:

  1. In a small bowl, place the egg, the mustard, and the cream.
  2. Whisk together until smooth.
  3. On a floured surface, take one sheet of puff pastry and roll it out until it's approximately 12 x 16-inch rectangle.
  4. Lightly brush some of the mustard mixture all over the pastry sheet (one side only).
  5. Lightly sprinkle half of the paprika on the sheet.
  6. Spread about half of the cheese over the surface of the pastry sheet, pressing it in with your hands.
  7. Fold the pastry sheet in half with the cheese inside.
  8. Roll the dough out slightly to press the ingredients together.
  9. Use a pizza cutter to slice the dough into strips (about ¾- to 1-inch wide).
  10. Twist each strip of dough as shown.
  11. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and space them approximately 1 inch apart (press down on the end of each strip of dough to keep it in place).
  12. Bake in a 400-degree oven for approximately 15 to 20 minutes (until golden brown).
  13. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with coarse salt.
  14. Repeat with the second sheet of pastry and the remaining ingredients.
  15. Enjoy!
