Select ingredients:


  1. 1. Divide ground beef into 8 evenly sized portions, press each portion into a disc. Season each disc with salt and pepper then divide grated cheese between the centers of 4 of the discs. Place the remaining 4 discs on top of the cheese, then using your hands gently press the edges together to seal in the cheese. Refrigerate the burgers for at least 1 hour.
  2. 2. Heat grill to medium high heat, cook the burgers until evenly browned then carefully flip and continue to sear until burgers are cooked to desired doneness. Serve hot on buns with any desired burger toppings and condiments.
