- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Heat the water in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in the instant mashed potatoes, milk and mayonnaise until combined, about 2 minutes.
- Combine the turkey and gravy in the prepared baking dish. Spread the potato mixture evenly over the turkey mixture. Top with the cheese and the fried onions.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until light golden brown. Top with the parsley.
- Serve with coffee or tea and creamer.
Recipe Tip: Substitute shredded chicken for shredded turkey, and chicken gravy for turkey gravy, to make this recipe year-round!
