Cherry Sauce

The perfect accompaniment to a variety of meats, this cherry sauce goes especially well when paired with steak.

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan over high heat, combine the red wine, sugar, and cherries.
  2. Bring to boil, reduce to medium-low, stirring frequently as the wine reduces, until it reaches the consistency of a thickened sauce.
  3. Serve over a perfectly cooked sirloin steak.
