Chicken and Waffle Sliders

Elevate the average slider into something extra-special with this splendorous chicken-and-waffles version. The maple syrup sauce adds the finishing touch!

- In a small saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, and cinnamon and bring to a boil for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Place the frozen waffles in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake according to package directions (approximately 6 minutes).
- Remove from the oven and cut the waffles into quarters.
- Take 1 waffle quarter and place a teaspoon or so of the maple/butter syrup on the center of the waffle. Add a piece of chicken and top with a second waffle quarter. Run a toothpick through the center to hold all the pieces together, and then drizzle the top with your desired amount of syrup. (Repeat this step with the remaining ingredients.)
