Chicken and Waffles

Makes 2 large servings
Surprise your mom with a simply delicious dish -- she'll love every bite! (And make sure you clean the kitchen when you're done cooking...)



  1. In a saucepan, heat the syrup and vanilla for at least 5 minutes on medium heat. (The syrup will thicken.) Set aside.
  2. Prepare the chicken tenders (either baked or fried). While the chicken tenders are cooking, prepare the waffles.
  3. In a separate saucepan, melt the butter.
  4. Place one of the prepared waffles on a plate and spoon the melted butter over the top.
  5. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the butter. Repeat with a second waffle (stack on top of the first.)
  6. Place three chicken tenders on the plate with the waffles. Pour the syrup mixture over the top and dig in!
