Chicken BBQ Sliders

The best thing about sliders of any kind is how perfect they are for leftover proteins. A little bun, some imagination and last night's rotisserie chicken and voila, a cute little platter of sandwiches. They are especially suited for a July 4th menu as a cross between finger food and hearty fare. These barbecue chicken sliders paired with a colorful slaw and sprig of Italian parsley look as good as they taste.



  1. Remove chicken from bone and roughly chop or shred until chicken is in bite sized pieces. Heat barbecue sauce in a pan and add chicken until heated. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Separate buns and place on baking sheet. Smear the inside of each bun with butter and toast until golden brown.
