Chicken Marsala

Who needs to go to a fancy Italian restaurant when you can make this popular dish at home?

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Dip chicken in water and coat with flour, salt and pepper. in a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken and saute, turning and cooking until almost done. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add onions and mushrooms, cook until browned. Add Marsala wine and heavy cream. Bring to a boil, stirring. Add lemon juice and pepper to taste.
  3. Return chicken to sauce and cook until chicken is hot, then serve over rice or fettuccine.
