Whip up these chicken nachos when your kids have friends over or you plan on tailgating. They are versatile and the chicken can be substituted with ground beef or turkey!

Select ingredients:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and spread a layer of tortilla chips on the bottom of a baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the chicken, cayenne pepper and the vegetable oil. Cover and let rest for 15+ minutes.
  3. Heat medium skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken mixture and cook until the chicken is no longer pink. Once it is cooked, remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Add 1/4 of of the chicken, 1/4 of the chilies and 1/4 of the cheese over the chips. Continue this layering process until you run out of ingredients. Top with cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted on top and all is heated through. Top with your favorite taco/nacho toppings!
