- Preheat grill to medium-heat.
- Blend the black pepper and chipotle pepper. Lightly spray both sides of the burgers with cooking spray. Rub pepper mixture on both sides of burgers. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes or until the internal temperature of each burger reaches a minimum of 165 °F, flipping once. During the last 1 minute of grilling, place the cheese slices on top of each burger. Layer the bottom buns with ketchup, lettuce, onion, tomato, burgers, tortilla strips and bun tops.
