This Bundt cake is the perfect holiday dessert, with a rich chocolate cake covered in a peppermint sugar glaze and topped with crushed candy canes.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  3. Mix cake mix, pudding mix, oil, eggs, water, sour cream, and vanilla.
  4. Beat until smooth.
  5. Mix in chocolate chips.
  6. Transfer batter into prepared Bundt pan.
  7. Bake for 1 hour.
  8. Allow to cool.
  9. In a medium bowl, mix powdered sugar with peppermint extract, then stir in a few drops of hot water.
  10. Stir thoroughly, adding another couple drops of water if it is too thick.
  11. If it's too thick, add another couple drops of water.
  12. Drizzle the mixture over the cake.
  13. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top of the cake.
