In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the marshmallows and stir.

Continue until the marshmallows are completely melted.

Remove from heat. Add the Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well-coated.

Press the mixture into a lightly greased 9x13 pan. Allow to cool.

Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart-shaped treats.

Place the treats on parchment paper.

Insert a Popsicle stick or a pop stick into each one.

Melt the melting wafers according to package directions and place in two separate bowls. Tint one bowl of the melted chocolate with the red food coloring to create a shade of pink; leave the other bowl white.

Dip the top half of each Rice Krispie treat into the melted chocolate. (You’ll want to dip some treats in pink and some in white.)

Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and immediately add heart-shaped sprinkles. Repeat with the remaining treats.
