In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, and salt.
Transfer to a medium saucepan.
Add the milk and heavy cream.
Over medium heat, whisk constantly until it boils. Continue to cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until it thickens (continue whisking).
Remove from the heat and whisk in the peanut butter, vanilla, and the chocolate chips.
Continue stirring until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Place the mixture in a large serving bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Chill for several hours.
Top with banana slices and peanuts before serving. Enjoy!
