A twist on the classic recipe, Food Lion's chocolate pecan pie will be a sure winner for holiday desserts!
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spread the chocolate chips on the bottom of the thawed pie crust, set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, salt, and vanilla: stir with a spoon until thoroughly mixed.
- Add the pecans, butter and mix well. Pour into the pie shell and bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until firm.
- Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve warm! Enjoy.
