For a festive appetizer that is sure to please a crowd, try these cheesy pull-apart rolls. With herbed butter and dipping sauce, they are delicious!

Select ingredients:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the mozzarella sticks into 1" pieces and set aside in a small bowl.
  2. Sprinkle a pinch of flour on a cutting board/counter, and divide pizza dough into two equal pieces. Stretch out each piece of dough into a long rectangle, then cut each rectangle of dough into 2” squares (you’ll need 33 total).
  3. Place a mozzarella piece in each dough square and wrap up forming a tightly sealed ball. Place balls seam-side down on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (they should be touching). Brush the egg wash over the dough balls and bake until golden, 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, whisk together melted butter, Parmesan and herbs. Brush on baked pizza balls after removed from oven and cooling. Serve warm with warmed marinara for dipping.
