Make your holiday filled with tasty dishes from the very start with a waffle breakfast easily made using pre-made cinnamon rolls instead of a homemade waffle batter. Your family is sure to love this playfully crafted brunch board with fresh fruit and bacon. After all, who doesn’t love a good cinnamon roll? And to pair with your special holiday morning meal, try adding a small scoop of vanilla ice cream to your coffee!
Ingredients
Directions
- Heat the waffle iron until very hot, and lightly coat with the butter. Working in batches, add 2 cinnamon rolls to the waffle iron and cook until light golden-brown and fully cooked, about 4-6 minutes. Cooking times may vary; follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the best results. Repeat with the remaining cinnamon rolls.
- Place the cream cheese icing and maple syrup in small serving bowls and arrange on a large serving board. Place the butter, waffles, bacon, strawberries, grapes, blueberries and raspberries on the board. Top the waffles with assorted toppings and serve with orange juice or coffee plus a scoop of ice cream for some wintry, festive fun.
Recipe Tip: Personalize the board by adding chocolate syrup, pecans, whipped cream and your favorite fresh fruit!
