Citrus Marinated Chicken Thighs

These delicious chicken thighs become super moist and have a wonderful citrus flavor. Simply marinate them in a a large Ziploc bag and cook on the grill or stove top. Serve on top of a salad for a quick, light dinner or with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

  1. Place the ingredients for the marinate in a large freezer style Ziploc bag (this makes sure it doesn't leak). Squeeze the marinate around with your fingers, on the outside of the bag, to combine the ingredients.
  2. Place the chicken thighs into the marinate and refrigerate for 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
  3. Grill on medium to high temperature for about 3-4 minutes each side. Flipping only once. *If you are cooking them on the stove top, cook in a grill pan or cast iron pan. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and butter before cooking.
  4. Let the chicken thighs rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
