Red wine is a must for this traditional Spanish drink. This recipe includes cinnamon to add a kick of spice.
- Mix the liquids and taste, add sugar by the heaping teaspoon and stir until it's right. Then add the fruit and chill. Add cinnamon sticks as garnish when served.
- Can be prepared up to six hours in advance - keep the fruit in a plastic bag in the refrigerator until it's time to serve.
- For non-alcoholic, mix 1 1/2 cups of grape juice and 1 1/2 cups of white grape juice in place of the wine. Increase the club soda to 2 cups.
